Access Control
This term refers to ideal solutions to ensure secure safe access and protection from strangers and potential burglars. Access control is the management of admission to system and network resources.

The first part of access control is authenticating the user, which proves the identity of the user or client machine attempting to log on. The second part is granting the authenticated user access to specific resources based on company policies and the permission level assigned to the user or user group.

Building Management Systems (BMS)

This term refers to a central computerized system for managing and operating systems within a building. A BMS usually incorporates controls for air conditioning, energy management, maintenance management, security access and fire systems. A BMS is an essential tool to ensure that operating costs are minimized and occupants are comfortable.

Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) System
The term CCTV refers to a system of television cameras, recorders, and monitors. The picture from television cameras is transmitted only to desired monitor or monitors. CCTV equipment system is connected through coaxial cables or wireless access points (WAPs). It is quite different from broadcast television where signal is broadcasted all over the network. CCTV system can record or trigger an event. It transmits live or recorded signal over coaxial cables or radio waves.

Data center equipment wiring and installation
This term refers to a technical setup used for housing a large amount of electronic equipment, usually computers and communications equipment, for the purpose of handling the data necessary for any given number of operations.

Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
This term refers to the process of analyzing the behavior or operation of a faulty circuit to determine what is wrong. It then involves identifying the defective component(s), repairing the circuit and providing scheduled maintenance.

Electric related systems
This term refers to wiring, installation and maintenance of solar, fiber optics, UPS system, generators, surge protection and other related electrical systems.

Electrical testing
This term refers to providing routine performed tests of electricity at several stages during wiring and installation to insure reliability and maintain high yields.

Emergency standby power systems
This term refers to having sufficient power for critical power in the event of an electric power failure. Fail-safe emergency/standby systems are configured, installed and maintained to address the critical needs of data processing systems, health care centers and telecommunication links.

Fire alarm and fire detection systems
This term refers to mechanical, electrical or radio-controlled devices designed to emit a sound or transmit a signal or message when activated by fumes, smoke, heat or fire. Alarm devices consist of smoke detectors, heat sensors, alarm panels, solenoid and electronic bells and alarm beacons (flashing lights and sounds).

Intruder alarm systems
This term refers to mechanical, electrical or telecommunicationcontrolled devices that sensor, detect and transmit a signal or massage when vibration, movement, sound and break-glass sensors detectors are activated or door, window or shutter connections, are interrupted or broken.

HVAC control wiring
This term refers to highly skilled wiring that connects to an array of switches, relays and control panels for heating and air conditioning. These components may take on dual roles (both a sensor and a switch), where they turn on certain parts of the circuit based on operating conditions.

Lighting maintenance and troubleshooting
This term refers to the maintenance of outdoor and indoor lighting, traffic signals, stadiums, athletic fields, shopping center parking lots, concert halls, and signage. Troubleshooting refers to providing expertise that ascertains the problem, diagnose the circuit/component, and provide a solution to return the suspect circuit or component back to normal operation.

Monitoring services
